Objectives The purpose of this case study is to report the effects of integrative Korean medicine centered on Facial Chuna Manual Therapy in a patient with oculomotor nerve palsy. Methods A patient with oculomotor nerve palsy was treated with Facial Chuna Manual Therapy-centered integrative Korean medicine. The patient presented with ptosis, diplopia, and dizziness. To evaluate the severity and improvement of oculomotor nerve palsy, ptosis grade, levator function, the Standard Duction Grading System, diplopia onset distance and the dizziness were assessed. Results After seven weeks of treatment, ptosis improved from severe to mild, levator function improved from poor to good-excellent, extraocular movement improved from -3 to 0, and symptoms of diplopia and dizziness were also alleviated. Conclusions This case study suggests that integrative Korean medicine centered on Facial Chuna Manual Therapy could improve symptoms associated with oculomotor nerve palsy.
