Objectives
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of chuna treatment on cervical sprain caused by traffic accident
Methods
This study carried out on 20 patients who have received hospital treatment in Jaseng Oriental Hospital. 20 patients were divided 2 groups. Non-chuna group got acupuncture-therapy, herbal medication, and chuna group got chuna treatment besides. And then compared the VAS measurments of each group.
Results
1. Both group were significantly improved in VAS after 4 weeks of treatment.
2. Chuna group compared with Non-chuna group was significantly improved in VAS after 4 weeks of treatment.
Conclusions
We found out that chuna treatment is considered to be effective and useful on cervical sprain caused by traffic accident
